Allegheny Health

Founded in 1875, by the Sisters of St. Joseph, Saint Vincent is Erie, Pennsylvania’s first hospital.

Beginning as a 12-bed hospital staffed by one surgeon and seven dedicated Sisters, Saint Vincent is now an affiliate of Allegheny Health Network and has grown into a state-of-the-art medical facility serving the entire northwestern region of PA.

In order to better serve their west county patients, AHN Saint Vincent Hospital set out to construct a comprehensive medical complex on Erie’s west side, which planned to include: an imaging center; an urgent care facility; an ACL; a rehabilitation facility and family, pediatric and sports medicine services. With a predetermined interior and exterior signage design in place from corporate, AHN Saint Vincent needed an experienced signage service provider to build and coordinate signage installation.

Howard Industries’ PRIME Sign Program sign experts worked closely with the hospital’s facilities director, contracted architect and furnished signage specs to provide a visually stunning and highly effective wayfinding signage program for the entire medical complex. Additionally Howard Industries’ PRIME Sign Program was able to successfully meet tight production and installation deadlines due to unforeseen program changes.
