Jameson Health Signage Case Study

Located in New Castle, PA, Jameson Health Systems boasts two hospital campuses, North and South; three medical schools, School of Nursing, School of Nuclear Medicine and School of Radiography; two senior care centers; a rehabilitation center; a Women’s Center; and multiple diagnostic centers. Jameson Health Systems has been nationally recognized for its leading-edge, community-driven healthcare services.

In spring of 2013, Jameson Health Systems expanded its North Campus with the construction of a brand new ER/OR wing. The addition of this 55,000 square-foot facility required both interior and exterior wayfinding and identification signage for its patients and visitors.

Being an already standing satisfied customer of Howard Industries PRIME Sign Program, JHS turned to them to provide the necessary facility’s signage program for the addition. Howard Industries PRIME Sign Program performed both an interior and exterior signage survey, along with creating signage design options for the newly constructed hospital wing. Over the course of the next few years, the hospital plans to update its existing signage at its established facilities as well. In addition, as a PA COSTARS member, JHS was able to receive a discount on the signage through Howard Industries PRIME Sign Program’s PA Department of General Services Contract.
