First National Bank of PA commissioned us to create a new multi-state, corporate wide signage program designed around a new logo they had adopted.
Create a complete new signage package defining a specific “brand” recognizable in any location.
The program consisted of hundreds of new signs, in optional sizes, for all applications, pylon signs, wall
mount signs, channel letters, ATM / Drive-in lane indicators, directional, time / temperature units, and LED
programmable units to name only a few. At the completion of the program, a comprehensive signage manual was
presented to the bank for future adherence. In the state of Florida, additional engineering was applied to
comply with a very stringent hurricane wind load requirement of 135 mph.
The bank required typical
sign program structures, Pylon (illuminated), wall signs (illuminated), directional / entry signs
(non-illuminated), and drive-in lane controllers (illuminated ATM Open / Closed). LED signage also fabricated
by us.
Initial changeover / 6 months We continue to provide signs to FNB / PA as required.
The hospital wanted to gain an organized understanding of their varied signage at numerous facilities and the condition of each. We proposed and they accepted a sign audit.
The work performed for this audit is very similar to the initial stage of our sign consulting packages.
We visited each of 19 campuses. We took photographs and notes on the condition of each sign, the position and
readability of each sign for every location.
After in-house analysis, we created detailed audit sheets
with sign type, format, frame size, post description, illumination, general condition, mounting type, paint
condition, graphics, and permit sticker status were completed for every single sign. An audit of over 75 signs
was performed, documented, converted to electronic files, and drawn to scale for future reference. In addition,
for those facilities that had signs in poor condition, visibly poor placement or were new, we created designs
that kept with the current design standards but offered a solution for each facility’s needs.
2 months / sign audit
1 month / fabricate install suggested sign solutions
A full audit binder and CD were provided as a tangible result of the completion of the project.
The university was looking to change their campus signage from old wooden signs to something more upscale and contemporary.
Created a new “brass look” logo with radius face design on a black background. Designed new signage program around this accepted design, including Identification, wayfinding, and campus map signs. Coordinated all removal of old signage and fabricated and installed new signage on several campuses.
3 months, presently have 3 year contract to supply signage.
Similar to Edinboro University, in that the college was looking to upgrade from old wooden type signs, desiring a new visual image to compliment several newly constructed buildings.
We designed a comprehensive new signage program based on improving wayfinding throughout the campuses. This project also included cast aluminum entranceway plaques and entranceway arch structures with college seal.
4 months, presently working on interior signage project.
